Mike has made riding, travelling, racing and talking non-stop about all three his life. While planning a long overseas jaunt has become the norm, Mike is happy to be racing anywhere, anytime, and just about any discipline. A penchant for marathon stage races has taken Mike to the Cape Epic, Sudety MTB Challenge, Transalp, Croc Trophy, Mongolia Bike Challenge and more. In 2013 Mike finished Transalp on the podium with team mate Imogen Smith, in the Mixed Pairs category – and in 2014 they finished in the same position at the Sudety MTB Challenge. In 2015 Mike is mixing some XCO racing with the Maverick Marathon Series and the MTBA XCM Series.
